About Manor Farm

Manor Farm is Ireland’s leading poultry producer based in Shercock, Co. Cavan. We are currently hiring a Hygiene Supervisor to support our night shift cleaning and hygiene operations within our busy food production facility.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Hygiene Supervisor to help lead our night shift cleaning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Hygiene Shift Manager in coordinating nightly cleaning and sanitising activities across the factory.

• Supervise Hygiene Operatives / Cleaners and help ensure cleaning tasks are completed safely, correctly, and on time.

• Carry out hygiene checks, cleaning inspections, and pre-production checks to confirm required standards are met.

• Ensure cleaning records, hygiene paperwork, and checklists are completed accurately.

• Monitor the safe use of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and cleaning equipment.

• Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to hygiene team members.

• Report hygiene issues, equipment concerns, safety risks, or non-conformances to the Hygiene Shift Manager.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to support food safety, audit readiness, and smooth start-up each morning.

About You

• Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, factory cleaning, industrial cleaning, or food production is required.

• Experience supervising, leading, or training a small team would be an advantage.

• Good understanding of cleaning standards, food hygiene, health and safety, and chemical handling.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

• Reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Good communication skills and the confidence to support and direct team members.

• A good standard of English is essential.

• Must be available to work night shifts from 12:00am to 8:00am.
