Manor Farm is seeking a HR Compliance Officer to play a key role in ensuring our people practices meet the highest standards of Irish employment legislation and regulatory compliance.
This is a hands-on, operational role with real impact across immigration, working time compliance, GDPR, and HR governance in a busy, regulated environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Compliance Officer will take ownership of HR compliance across the employee lifecycle, ensuring the business remains legally compliant, risk‑aware, and audit‑ready at all times.

Monitor compliance with the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997, including:
Maximum weekly working hours
Daily and weekly rest periods

Data Protection & HR Governance
Support GDPR compliance across HR processes, including:
Employee data retention schedules
Lawful processing and data minimisation
Access controls and people‑data governance
Act as a key HR contact for audits, DSARs and compliance queries
HR Audits, Records & Lifecycle Compliance
Maintain high‑quality, audit‑ready HR documentation and records
Support internal audits and external inspections (e.g. WRC, customer audits)
Ensure statutory and internal compliance steps are completed during onboarding
Monitor compliance touchpoints across joiners, movers and leavers
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track and report HR compliance metrics (e.g. permit status, WTD risks, audit findings)
Proactively identify people‑risk trends and legislative exposure
Drive continuous improvement in HR compliance systems, controls and documentation
What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years’ experience in HR operations, HR compliance or workforce compliance
Strong, hands‑on experience with Irish work permits and immigration processes
Working knowledge of Irish employment law, particularly working time legislation
Relevant third‑level qualification in HR or related discipline
CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable
Exceptional attention to detail and strong record‑keeping skills
Confident communicator with the ability to challenge non‑compliance constructively
Proactive, risk‑aware and solution‑focused mindset
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or other regulated environments is an advantage
