Compliance Officer

Manor Farm | Full‑Time | On‑Site (Shercock, County Cavan)

Are you detail‑driven with a strong interest in Health, Safety and Environmental compliance?

Manor Farm is hiring a Compliance Officer to play a hands‑on role in supporting safe, compliant, and efficient site operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the ground, working closely with teams, and taking ownership of day‑to‑day compliance activities in a busy food manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Compliance Officer, you’ll support the site by ensuring Health & Safety and Environmental standards are consistently met. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly compliance checks

• Recording and maintaining H&S and Environmental data

• Delivering Manual Handling training and H&S / Environmental inductions

• Conducting scheduled compliance audits

• Supporting general site duties when required, including:

  • Forklift cover

  • Environmental sampling

  • Gritting and salting

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a practical, proactive individual who is comfortable working in a site‑based role. You will ideally have:

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

• Confidence communicating both verbally and in writing

• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• A responsible, proactive approach to compliance and safety

• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, operational environment

Training & Certifications

(Desirable but not essential – full training can be provided)

• Manual Handling Instructor

• Train the Trainer certification

• Forklift licence
