We are recruiting an Assistant Quality Systems Manager to support the day-to-day management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Food Safety and Quality Management Systems in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
This role plays a key part in ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and effective customer complaint investigation, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support HACCP, VACCP and TACCP activities and food safety risk assessments
Assist with BRC / customer / regulatory audits and maintain audit readiness
Manage CAPA investigations, root cause analysis, and close-out
Investigate and respond to customer complaints, including direct customer contact by telephone
Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve quality and food safety issues
Conduct internal audits and support supplier approval processes
Maintain document control, SOPs, and quality records
Support GMP standards, pest control, and processing compliance
About You
Previous experience in Quality, Technical, or Food Safety within food manufacturing
Strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory requirements
Experience handling customer complaints and investigations
Excellent written and spoken English (essential)
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
HACCP or internal auditing experience (advantageous)
Strong IT Skills and proficient in the use of MS Office
