Assistant Process Engineer

Manor Farm is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will support process optimisation, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across a fast‑paced food manufacturing site. What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting process improvement initiatives and equipment optimisation projects.

• Monitoring equipment performance, assisting with maintenance planning, and tracking work orders through the CMMS.

• Participating in root cause analysis and helping implement corrective and preventative actions.

• Assisting with SOP updates, GMP compliance activities, and internal/external quality audits.

• Supporting cost‑reduction, energy‑efficiency, and equipment‑uptime initiatives.

• Providing day‑to‑day technical support to Production and working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Health & Safety teams.

What You’ll Bring

• A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment (food manufacturing experience is an advantage).

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced team environment.
