Senior Production Planner

Senior Production Planner – Shercock

Full-time | Supply Chain | FMCG | On-site

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Shercock, County Cavan. This role is key to ensuring efficient production planning, stock availability, and strong cross-functional alignment across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, optimise and manage daily production schedules

  • Respond to real‑time changes such as breakdowns or customer adjustments

  • Coordinate planning activities with Production, Quality, NPD, Sales, Logistics and Warehousing

  • Identify supply risks and recommend solutions

  • Support short‑term planning aligned with forecasts

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and planning systems

  • Provide weekend cover during planner annual leave

  • Lead, mentor and act as senior point of contact for the planning team

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years’ FMCG planning experience

  • Strong background working in high‑volume environments

  • Experience with fresh food or short shelf‑life products (advantageous)

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Advanced Excel and data interpretation ability

  • Proven cross‑functional collaboration skills

  • Strong organisational and time‑management capability

Qualifications

  • Fluent English (written & spoken)

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or similar (preferred)
