NPD Specification Coordinator

NPD Specification Co‑ordinator

Full‑time | Fixed term contract

Join our New Product Development team and play a key role in bringing new food products to market.
We’re looking for a detail‑driven and proactive NPD Specification Co‑ordinator to manage product, raw material and packaging specifications for our business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great customer outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain product specifications (internal & customer).

  • Build specs on retailer portals including TQC, Zoom, and Wave.

  • Work closely with NPD, suppliers, and retail customers.

  • Manage new material specs, technical questionnaires & approvals.

  • Ensure products meet customer, safety, legal & quality standards.

  • Verify nutrition info and support customer/external audits.

  • Stay up to date with retailer COPs, food legislation & technical data.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience in a technical food product development role.

  • Experience working with Irish retailer specification systems.

  • Relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Innovation, Food Quality, Food Safety, or related discipline desirable.

  • Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail & ability to work under pressure.

  • Organised, analytical, and confident in challenging the status quo.
