The Role

Manor Farm is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Controller to join our Quality Control team.  This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment while contributing to the delivery of safe, high quality products.

Night Shift:  12:00am – 8:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out chemical, physical, and microbiological testing, taking appropriate corrective action where required

• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external certifications (e.g. BRC, HACCP)

• Maintain daily and weekly quality records and verify accuracy

• Conduct regular hygiene and food safety audits

• Ensure all products leaving the factory meet food safety and quality requirements

• Oversee plant and factory hygiene to the highest standards

• Assist in training operators (e.g. food hygiene training)

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes 

About You

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.

• A good standard of English is essential.

• A positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills.

• Good numeracy, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

• Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns.
