The Role

As a General Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our production lines operate efficiently and safely. You will contribute to the production of high-quality food products while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and teamwork.

This is a part time role working weekends

Full training is provided, along with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up production line equipment, including butchery, packing, weighing, and labelling.

  • Follow daily production plans and meet output and quality targets.

  • Monitor the production process and report any issues, delays, or equipment concerns.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness.

  • Adhere to all health & safety, quality, and company procedures.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.

About You

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.

  • A good standard of English is essential.

  • A positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills.

  • Good numeracy, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.

  • Must be available to work weekends
