Compliance Officer
Manor Farm is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and governance across all operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and highly organised Compliance Officer to support our ongoing compliance, safety and environmental initiatives. This is a key role within our governance structure, ensuring that our site operates in line with regulations, internal standards and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly compliance checks, including First Aid boxes, defibrillators, spill kits and bunds, and record findings in the compliance system.
- Conduct daily reviews of factory pre-inspection sheets, identifying system gaps and escalating issues where necessary.
- Record Health & Safety and Environmental data using the Position Green system.
- Raise purchase orders in the NAV system for approval.
- Deliver Manual Handling training to new and existing employees.
- Deliver Health & Safety and Environmental induction training.
- Conduct compliance audits according to the audit schedule.
- Collaborate with the SOP writer and carry out risk assessments for SOPs/tasks, uploading completed assessments to the Centuri system.
- Support compliance-related projects and produce reports as required.
- Assist with site maintenance tasks when needed (e.g., operating Gaitor for salting and gritting, car park cleaning, grass cutting).
- Provide forklift cover during holiday periods, as per rota.
- Carry out environmental sampling to cover Environmental Officer absence.
