We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and highly organised Compliance Officer to support our ongoing compliance, safety and environmental initiatives. This is a key role within our governance structure, ensuring that our site operates in line with regulations, internal standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly compliance checks, including First Aid boxes, defibrillators, spill kits and bunds, and record findings in the compliance system.
• Conduct daily reviews of factory pre-inspection sheets, identifying system gaps and escalating issues where necessary.
• Record Health & Safety and Environmental data using the Position Green system.
• Raise purchase orders in the NAV system for approval.
• Deliver Manual Handling training to new and existing employees.
• Deliver Health & Safety and Environmental induction training.
• Conduct compliance audits according to the audit schedule.
• Collaborate with the SOP writer and carry out risk assessments for SOPs/tasks, uploading completed assessments to the Centuri system.
• Support compliance-related projects and produce reports as required.
• Assist with site maintenance tasks when needed (e.g., operating Gaitor for salting and gritting, car park cleaning, grass cutting).
• Provide forklift cover during holiday periods, as per rota.
• Carry out environmental sampling to cover Environmental Officer absence.
