Stock & Procurement Administrator
The Stock & Procurement Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Stock Control functions. Working closely with the Direct Procurement Manager and the wider stock control team, the role ensures the smooth running of stock operations, data accuracy, and timely coordination of purchasing and reporting activities.
This position requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and teamwork. It is ideal for an individual looking to develop their career in procurement, stock management, and supply chain administration within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Stock control and reconciliation
- Operational support for trials, stock deep dives, and issue resolution
- Manage potential stock issues and communicate updates to the team
- Manage new stock items entering or exiting the system
- Reconcile weekly stock takes and report discrepancies
- Reconcile invoice queries in coordination with Procurement and Finance
- Participate in departmental collaboration and weekly meetings
- Support Material requirement planning, forecasting, and NPD tracking activities
- Assist with new product code creation and maintenance in ERP systems
- Support seasonal planning such as BBQ & Winter management
- Support Sustainability initiatives & reporting
- Handle ad hoc procurement and stock-related requirements
- General administration and AOB (Any Other Business) support
Skills & Competencies
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems (e.g. NAV, SAP, or similar)
- Good numerical ability and data accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and adaptable approach with a strong sense of urgency
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn procurement and stock systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, stock control, or procurement support role preferred
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and data entry systems
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment desirable
