Job Description:
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within a high-tech production environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in automation, robotics, and electrical maintenance while working with cutting-edge machinery and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components within an automated production environment.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults under supervision.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), motor control systems, and robotics.
• Follow electrical diagrams, schematics, and safety regulations.
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.
• Support senior electricians and technicians in daily operations while attending required training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report issues as necessary.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in electrical systems, automation, and manufacturing technology.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles (prior experience or education is a plus but not required).
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Leaving Cert or equivalent.
• Excellent written or spoken English.
• Computer literate.
• Organised, Logical, Good Communicator.
